There are two ways to an Item. The first way is to scribe a scroll and make the item
directly from the recipe you have. After scribing the scroll, just like an
ability, you will need to select Tradeskills from the main menu. Next, select Recipe
Book and then select the option from the menu. You will now need to
find the recipe in your recipe book. In this case, you would select it from Special.
Once you have the recipe open, you will notice that it has two different categories. The first category is Skill Level. This shows you what skill level you need before you can successfully make the armor. The second category is Item Rarity. This reflects the difficulty of successfully smithing the armor. Item Rarity can be Common, Uncommon, Rare or Ultra Rare, each being more difficult to smith than the previous. Next, select your recipe. This will bring up a new screen that has several options to choose from. Inspecting the recipe will show you the necessary components and skill level, and what benefits the item will grant, if any. When you successfully make and Iitem, you will be shown how much experience was gained and also the Item you created. The second way to make an item is through experimentation. Select Tradeskills from the main menu and then select the option, Experiment. You will now notice that all of the tradeskill components are listed on the left side of the screen. Select the various components you wish to try to make into an item, then make them. If your choice of components is a valid recipe you will attempt to make an Item . If it is not, you will receive a message stating that your choice of components is not a valid recipe. |
